We usually tend to concentrate on issues which are directly connected to one's own research field. The purpose of this APPI workshop is to re-calibrate ourselves by hearing lectures of various fields, and to get some new hints from other fields.
We accept applications on the basis of "first come, first accepted". Please apply to the organizer indicated below with a filled application form at your earliest convenience. You can also apply via web page shown above. If you would like to have accompanying persons, please indicate in the application form.
About 10-15 talks will be organized, and the time of each talk should be less than one hour. Please indicate in the application form whether you would like to give a talk or not.
Regular proceedings will be published. Speakers are kindly asked to write a manuscript of about 10 pages for their proceedings. Talks and Proceedings should be prepared in English.

| Accompanying persons | 40,000yen 20,000yen for children of primary-school or kinder-garden ages. Please contact with organizers for younger kids. |
Registration fee includes hotel fee of four nights, four breakfasts, three dinners, coffee during the sessions, and proceedings. Dinner of the arrival day (16th) is not included in this fee, and participants are kindly asked to have it by themselves in a service area of the high-way. Participants are also asked to have their lunches by themselves.
Rooms are usually shared by three participants. If you have accompanying persons, however, each family will be accommodated in one room.
Single-person use of a room can also be arranged, if requested. However, for four nights, this will require an additional lodging charge of 10,000yen per person. Please indicate in the application form if you would like to use this option.
A bus will be chartered for transportation between KEK and the hotel. This round-trip bus will require an additional charge of 10,000yen. If you would like to use it, please indicate in the application form. However number of seats is limited, and your application to the bus may not be accepted if all the seats are occupied.
