Delayed model

This animation shows the behavior of a feedback system using a delay loop. Click here to see the animation (240 Ko)
It can be split into 3 components:
Phase 1:

A train arrives at IP with a given offset. Luminosity is lost due to this offset.
Phase 2:

The offset is measured on the outgoing bunches and correction is fully applied to the incoming bunches.
Phase 3:

As the corrected bunches reach the measuring device, te delay loop compensate the 0 measurement to keep applying a full correction.
This model is much better, but in fact suffers of the non linearity of the relation better deflection angle and offset at IP. This model can be improved with non linear components to take this effect into account.
