May 18 10:00
Rm.425 bldg.3 at KEK.

-----
(1) Report of meeting at SLAC on ATF2 magnets (R.Sugahara)
     See the complete report at:

    [Discussion]
    - Recalculate tolerance of Q-magnets at r=10mm (Kuroda)
    - Estimate the maximum field (Kuroda & Woodley)
Maximum K1 of QM-magnets to be discussed
    - Simulation study of Q-magnets with distributed errors of fabrication (machine) error (Kuroda)
    - If Q's have n=3 components of 10^-4 because of a fabrication error, correction should be done by sextupoles?
    - When the SLAC movers are used at ATF2, we have very small room for vacuum port etc. between magnets.
    - Beam energy should be defined to be 1.3 GeV (not 1.54/1.28 GeV) by Kubo and Kuroda
    - Sugahara is responsible for ATF2 magnets and Cherill and Kumada design them.
    - Necessity of 8-poles to be consulted with Andrei and PT.
    - production and property check of all the magnets at IHEP to be discussed with IHEP.

(2) Background study at SNOWMASS LC workshop
    - Possible items to be discussed
      a) Crossing angle ( Major issue at SNOWMASS )
         - physics study on the veto angle (stau production)
         - back-scattered background;
      b) L* > 4m for GLD
        - optics
        - physics and detector concept
        - magnetic field uniformity for TPC
